The couple chose Hale Koa because it is their favorite place to eat with their family during the holidays. Their cultural backgrounds are very different, so they tried to incorporate touches of each culture in a elegant way. The different performances and speeches help represent their cultural backgrounds. The decor was based on a fairy tale and they rented a carriage to fulfill the “fairy tale” part of their vision.
