Daidap’s Wish Day
The County of Honolulu, HPD, and Make-a-Wish partnered up to make Daidap’s wish of becoming a police officer come true. There were plenty of surprises for young Daidap including his very own badge, uniform, and even a police car! It was inspiring to see such combined efforts from the numerous volunteers and what seemed like the entire police force to make this a special day. Even mayor Kirk Caldwell made an appearance and officially declared April 28th as officer Daidap day!
