Hillary and Steven chose to have their reception at The Modern because it is unique and of course “modern”. Hillary wanted to utilize the venue which has a lot of potential for video and photography. The bride wanted the décor to stray away from flowers and focus more on candles to keep it looking chic and elegant.The couple got ready at the Hillary’s house in Kailua and they chose their ceremony location because it is their home parish in Kailua where they are from. The bride wanted the décor to stray away from flowers and focus more on candles to keep it looking chic and elegant. The couple’s 2 years old son Brady was also a huge part of their special day.
