Reverend Dan was the son of a pastor, so he grew up in the midwestern United States in a number of cities. His education was in both music and theology, earning graduate degrees in both from Illinois and Indiana universities. Reverend Dan enjoys playing piano, pipe organ, and leading vocal for church, as well as ministry duties like visiting the elderly in retirement homes and performing weddings. Teaching children to sing is a fun activity that he really enjoys, and even took grade school children to England several years ago to sing in a large British cathedral. Reverend Dan really love to perform weddings because of the joy it brings to each couple. Although beach weddings are wonderful, it is also great fun to perform weddings in Japanese for visitors from that country.
