Alyssa & Darrin Married!
Alyssa & Darrin chose the Hawaii Prince hotel because of the great food and who wants to be at a pretty wedding with junk food? One of the things they have in common as a couple is that they both like to eat. Alyssa had been looking forward to her wedding ever since she was a kid. Her mom would joke that even in preschool, Alyssa would go around saying she wanted to be a bride when she grew up. Darrin let Alyssa take the lead to plan whatever she wanted as long as he got good food and live music.
The couple went to preschool together without knowing it until later on when they started dating after being introduced to each other in middle school. In college they continued dating and began a long distance relationship because Darrin went to USC and Alyssa went to Sacramento State.
When they first started dating, Darrin bought Alyssa a teddy bear wearing a t-shirt that read “Someone from USC loves me” and Alyssa bought him a rabbit with a shirt that read “Someone at Sac State loves me”. Through this their nicknames for each other “Darri Bear” and “Honey Bunny” were created. The couple even chose to use a bear and a rabbit as their cake topper. Congratulations!
