Jamie and Kwok Married!
Hawaii was the ideal location for Jamie and Kwok’s wedding, as they enjoy the outdoors and are very active. They consider themselves a very laid-back, nature-loving couple. The only problem was that they live in a fast-paced, concrete jungle called New York City. The couple wanted a wedding that embodied those aspects of their personalities. Jamie first vacationed in Hawaii more than 15 years ago. She instantly fell in love with the island because its tropical climate reminded her of home in Malaysia. When Jamie and Kwok visited Hawaii to scout wedding venues, there was a sense of nostalgia. The couple quickly identified themselves with the atmosphere, the culture of Hawaii, and the spirit of its people. It was only fitting that they chose to celebrate their union in Hawaii. Jamie and Kwok ultimately decided on Turtle Bay because of its location right along the north coast of Oahu, and because it is not as busy as Waikiki, which made their day feel more intimate.
