Jay and Crystal first met in Waikiki while Crystal was staying at the Hyatt when she first moved for her job. With the combination of the beautiful chandeliers in the Regency ballroom and the nice ocean background of the Na Lea Terrace, they knew that the Hyatt would be the place they would get married in.
