Karlel and Stu Married!

Karlel and Stu met in the elevator of their apartment building. Stu lived there for 6 years and Karlel 3 years before a chance meeting during Stu’s birthday weekend. They call it a fairytale as a chance meeting turned into a lifetime together. Karlel and Stu chose Sea Life Park for the ceremony location because they had several memorable dates there. Stu’s sister Tara was the education manager there. The ocean view is also something Stu wanted as he loves surfing and nature. Everything was setup as a fairytale; the entrance of the Reception was draped inside and outside of the door, there was a storybook up on the stage that says once upon a time, Cinderella carriages (including a real life one) galore echoed into all elements of their day, twinkling lights back drops, and finally stars on the ceiling. Karlel and Stu love fitness and adventure (scuba diving, hiking, crossfit, bodybuilding, swimming with the sharks, etc..) Stu also buys Karlel flowers on the 4th of every single month for the past 4 years; he hasn’t missed a beat. To the couple, they want to keep the fairytale going, for years to come. The theme was Hawaiian Cinderella. The theme brings the Hawaiian Business woman (who rarely goes to the beach) together with the Missouri Electrical Engineer and Surfer (who makes her get in the water now more). Irony in this, but it works.
