Kelly and Michael chose the venue of Ko’olau Ballrooms because Kelly was born on Kaneohe side, and Mike wanted somewhere to capture the beauty of Hawaii that he’s come to appreciate after moving here. The couple wanted the decor to be simple, but timeless, as they are not a flashy couple, or need/want the attention of all eyes on them. For the wedding day, Kelly and Michael didn’t want it to be all about them. Instead they wanted the day to be focused on their families & friends getting to meet each other, and everyone just having a good time.
