Kiki and Eigo Married!

I was very honored to fly to Cottage Grove, Oregon, to capture Kiki and Eigo’s big day. They both are my good friends from when I used to live in Oregon, and when I heard that they were tying the knot after 7 years of dating, I was beyond excited! The couple’s relationship began when they passed by each other in the college dorm hallway. Since then, they have gone through a long distance relationship between Oregon and Japan for a few years. At the best man’s speech, Kiki’s brother, Sean shared us the story that even though it was hard to be apart, they never gave up and did anything to make this day happen.

Their wedding was cerebrated with family and good friends. Lots of LOTS OF dancing! My highlight of the day was to take pictures of their classic car ride in Kiki’s hometown after the reception. We got to visit the historical bridge in town for the formal shots and that was amazing!

オレゴンに住んでいた頃の友人、KikiとEigoの結婚式撮影に行ってきました。
大学の寮の廊下ですれ違って気になり始めたのをきっかけに、大恋愛を経て一緒になれた二人の背景には、遠距離恋愛でつらい時期もあったということをベストマンであるKikiの弟Seanのスピーチで知りました。あきらめなかった二人、未来を信じて一緒になれる日を待っていた二人。一緒に過ごした日々を経て、この日結婚式を迎える事が出来ました。私はその瞬間に立ち会えた事がとても嬉しかったです。
楽しい事が大好きなお二人の結婚式は、たくさんの家族や友人に囲まれてとてもにぎやかなものでした！盛り上がったダンスタイム、プロップをたくさん用意したフォトブースや、ラベンダーシャワー、そして最後にはクラシックカーでKikiの故郷の町をドライブしました：）
