Kristen and Kingston Married!

Just from their engagement session and engagement video, we knew right off the bat that Kristen and Kingston would be a ton of fun to work with on their wedding! These two have personalities that can uplift anyone, and it was awesome to document their big day! It began with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony, accompanied by a food offertory presentation at Kingston’s grandpa’s house, which almost felt like we stepped back in time with all the photos and traditional decorations. We’ve seen hundreds of wedding gowns over the years, but nothing quite like Kristen’s kimono-inspired wedding dress! It was a great way to tie in her heritage to the wedding. The ceremony took place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on the pool terrace. We’ve shot quite a few weddings at this hotel, but this was the first time where the chairs were organized in a circle around the arch, which was definitely refreshing! Kristen and Kingston’s crazy wedding party kept things interesting throughout the day, and everyone was stoked when the lion dancers came out during the reception!
