Melody and Mitchel are simple and traditional people. They both grew up with Catholic values and having a ceremony in the church was important to them (and their families). After a long discussion, Mitchel agreed to get married in Maui–the island where Melody was born and raised. This willingness by Mitchel and his family really touched Melody’s heart. The couple chose King Kamehameha Golf Course for its beautiful scenic views of the slopes of Haleakala, the area where Mitchel proposed.
