In 2013, Jay was on a trip with Pie and her cousins on Oahu and secretly started falling for her. Two years later, they became a couple and Jay knew that she was the one. Another year later the couple was back again in the islands and Jay proposed to Pie at the top of Mt. Haleakala in Maui. They got married on the tranquil beach of Secret Island because they wanted to have an intimate gathering under the morning sun surrounded by nature and the people they love.
