Shawn and James Married!

Shawn and James chose the Hale Koa because it was affordable and they could reserve a ballroom and the Maile garden for ceremony and reception in a short notice. Shawn really wanted the wedding to have island vibe to it, so she went with a bird of paradise dress with greens from Show Me Your Mumu. It definitely fit well with the location and she decided on coral colors with orange, reds, and pinks mixed in. The couple moved to the mainland after the wedding because James got accepted to the business school at UCLA. Shawn had never left the island, but always wanted to. Timing couldn’t have been any more perfect for the both of them. The couple met randomly at Manifest in January 2017, started dating April 2017, proposed January 2018, and made it official in the summer of 2018.
