Tony and Seri chose to get married at Hale Nanea, because it reminded Seri of her hometown in Hokkaido. They first met at a friend’s international party that Seri initially didn’t want to join, but somehow eventually went. They wanted their wedding to blend their two families together who are both traditional Japanese and traditional Chinese in one.
