Wendy & Alex Wedding Highlights!
Hailing from California, Wendy and Alex decided to have their wedding at Merriman’s on the beautiful Maui coast, and flew a team of us out to document their big day! We always love it when the couple incorporates elements that echo their cultural heritage, and Wendy and Alex did just that. After the getting ready, Alex had to pass a series of “tests” to show that he was worthy to take Wendy’s hand in marriage. The tasks ranged from doing ridiculous dancing, to eating candy swimsuits off of the groomsmen. Wendy watched the festivities thru FaceTime, laughing every bit of the way. A traditional Chinese tea ceremony followed, with Wendy wearing a stunning red lace dress. The late afternoon sunlight made the ceremony site shine, as the couple said their vows. With everyone flying in from the mainland, the reception was really a family reunion, and it was nice to see everyone just hanging out and enjoying good company. Congratulations Wendy & Alex!
